Behind The Scenes.
Fiddledee ID's is a labor of love!
The company was started in 2005 after my precious child was diagnosed with a severe peanut allergy. Terrified, I armed myself with an epipen jr. and read everything about food allergies. In searching for a medical id bracelet that was just "right" for my little prince, I ended up making the bracelet myself. With a background in online marketing and a passion for making jewelry, starting my own business was a natural progression.
In 2006, I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer at the age of 31. My children were 2 and 5 years old, today I am an 8 year survivor and count my blessings every day. I truly understand the needs of my customers, I have a passion for helping them in the only ways that I know how. I hope your medical id bracelet brings some sunshine and makes you smile.

What's with the name?
Long story. My second darling son was a comedian from day one. While making dinner, I would play a little CD of nursery rhymes. One of the tunes sang the lyrics, "Fiddledee Dee, Fiddledee Dee, the fly has married the bumble bee. And the bee, said she, will you marry me and live with me, sweet bumble bee?".
When I would sing the song, my baby son would laugh and laugh. He would giggle just as soon as I started with, "Fiddledee Dee, FiddledeeDee." People make up all kinds of silly nicknames for their children. For some reason, he was stuck with the nicknames, "Fiddledee", "Fidds", or even, "Dee". He is 10 years old and the poor child is still stuck with it. It could be worse, though.
With that story in mind, the business was started for my first son and named after my second son. I try to be fair, to a fault maybe. The name is hard to say and harder to spell. I know, but when I think of my business- I think of love and family.
