Our medical ID bracelets and tags are for everyone and all conditions. Engrave information that could help in case of an emergency and you cannot speak for yourself. See “Engraving Tips” for more ideas!
A general guideline for engraving is to include: Your name Your medical condition Any severe allergies Any medication that you are taking that can have potentially dangerous interactions Any medication that should be administered An emergency phone number Your Dr’s phone number 3. How do I know what size to order? Will you make a bracelet for my size if it’s not on the chart? To measure for a bracelet, use a measuring tape to snugly measure your wrist and add 1 inch. If you find that you need a size not on our chart, simply send us an e-mail and we will custom make one for you! We do not recommend our beaded or leather bracelets for small children, our smallest beaded bracelet is 6”. Beaded bracelets pose a choking hazard for small children and the id tag may be too large for their wrist, it is best for small children to use one of our adjustable bracelets, shoe tags or beltloop tags. Below is a quick sizing chart. This is only a guide, please measure to find your correct size.
4. Are they interchangeable? Yes! Most of Fiddledee ID’s medical id bracelets are interchangeable (Simple Simon is the only one that is not); each bracelet has two sterling silver lobster clasps that attach to the ID tag. 5. How do I order just an interchangeable bracelet and how is it sized?
Choose the medical id bracelet you are interested in, select the “Medical id tag option”. Scroll down and select “Interchangeable bracelet only- NO TAG”. Please give us the length needed that would include the tag. For example, if you wear a 7.5” medical id bracelet, choose this size. We will send you a bracelet that is roughly 6” and when attached to the tag, the whole bracelet tip to tip measure 7.5”.
6. Does it matter which arm I wear the bracelet on? We have been told that EMS technicians check the left wrist first for any medical ID bracelets. 7. What happens if my bracelet breaks or does not fit properly? We warranty our products for 3 months. If your bracelet does not fit or breaks then we will restring and repair it once free. After 3 months, we will repair the bracelet for $15. (International orders, repair price is $27.50 to include shipping) Our warranty guarantees quality in workmanship under normal use. Our warranty does not cover beaded or leather jewelry worn in water or sports. Please remember, our medical id bracelets are not indestructible and should be treated with the same care as other jewelry. Please mail the bracelet to us in a padded envelope with a $15.00 check made to Fiddledee ID’s. Our mailing address is: PO Box 271199, Flower Mound, TX 75027. Please include a note with your name, address, phone number, order number if you have it, and bracelet size. 8. Can I wear my bracelets while taking a shower or swimming? Although the beads, charms and clasps are sterling silver, they are strung on jewelry wire. We use the highest quality 49 strand, nylon coated stainless steel jewelry wire but we still recommend not wearing our products in water. When worn repeatedly in water, the beaded and leather bracelets will break. The stainless steel and sterling silver chains are fine to wear in water, although the sterling will tarnish faster when exposed to chemicals. 9. Will my sterling silver tarnish?
Our sterling silver jewelry is coated with Rhodium to help resist tarnish but tarnish is… a natural phenomenon. It is the result of sulfur in the environment reacting with the metal in jewelry. All metal, except pure gold and platinum, will eventually tarnish. Heat, humidity and chemicals speed the process. Tarnish can be easily removed with a polishing cloth or sterling silver polish. Since this is a natural process, we do not consider tarnish a defect and will not replace items that just need polishing. 10. What is your return and shipping policies? We hope that you will love your jewelry however if you need to make a return, we accept returns within 30 days. We will refund any portion of the bracelet that is not custom engraved. Engraved ID tags or charms are not refundable. Shipping is also not refundable. Please return to us in padded envelope to: Fiddledee IDs, PO Box 271199, Flower Mound, TX 75027. 11.
